From the get go I was hired to work on the newly started plugin ONE Data for ONE Platform. The plugin is designed to streamline data governance and quality processes, focusing on enabling business users and data teams to collaborate effectively.
Currently my primary focus is on ONE Data plugin, but I also touch other parts of the platform, including Flamingo component library.
Over the course of my time at Ataccama, I have proposed and implemented several improvements to the development process, including the introduction of MSW with zero BE policy for ONE Data plugin, which significantly improved and speed up the development process.
During my time here I have even deepened extensive knowledge of TypeScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL, and Apollo Client and refined development processes that are now being leveraged by other teams.
The collaboration was conducted primarily in English language with some Czech, and I work in a team consisting of 10 people.
Intro
Ataccama is a global software company specializing in AI-driven data management solutions. Established in 2007 and based in Toronto, Canada, they serve various sectors with tools for enhanced data quality, governance, and master data management.
The company’s flagship product is Ataccama ONE platform, integrating Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management into a unified, AI-enhanced platform. Its SaaS solution is designed for both hybrid and cloud environments, providing a comprehensive suite of tools for data management.
The platform is modular, allowing organizations to start with what they need and scale up with additional functionalities over time.

Development
- Developing the plugin as standalone application, decoupled from the main platform and injected into it
- The standalone application is developed within monorepo, with usage of flamingo component library
- In current setup, the application is able to be developed without the need of running backend, as it leverages MSW for mocking API calls that enables us, FE developers, to work independently while being able to test and showcase the application to stakeholders
